Rachel WARD Rachel has over 20 years of experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, has a post graduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy and a background in AMA Clinical Pilates Polestar Pilates. Sweet Louise offers information, advice, urge and a range of attainable and therapeutic services that will help women and men with lesser breast cancer lead more definite lives. Funds raised will help aid local Hawks's Bay peoples to access inc, Steel, PaddleOn and Following Steps cancer rehab programmed.
Rachel Ward is Fawkes Bay's only certified Steel Cancer Rehabilitation Physiotherapist. At Align Physiotherapy we incorporate Physio with Clinical Pilates to assist you to achieve your fitness, rehabilitation and health goals. While it has its basis in mainstream physiotherapy, it incorporates specific Pilates exercises to treat each client individually. We are thrilled to announce that the Napier Port 'PADDLE FOR HOPE' event raised over 25,00 for the inc Steel Cancer Rehabilitation Trust for cancer rehabilitation in Hawks's Bay. What is Sweet Louise? Sweet Louise helps to improve the quality of life for hundreds of Fresh Zealand women and men living with inferior breast cancer.
The Steel cancer rehabilitation programmed provides a packed range of services designed to look after men who are recovering from cancer surgery or cancer treatments. The Steel programmed consists of a course of 10 individually designed and delivered treatments incorporating physiotherapy, resistance training, clinical Pilates, tire management and exercise prescription. Rachel enjoys spending time outdoors with her family stand up paddle boarding and cycling. Rachel has been occupied in the field of cancer rehabilitation for the end 6 years and is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life latter a cancer diagnosis and treatments.
Clinical Pilates is a treatment method worn by specifically trained Physiotherapists. She has been selected for the 'NZ PIN Medical Advisory Committee' for her expertise in cancer rehabilitation
