Medics On Scene can cover all medical requirements at your event ... from First Responders and EMT,right up to Intensive Care Paramedic level.
Our personnel are highly qualified and expertly trained, front-line experienced and fully equipped to deal with any medical emergency should the unthinkable happen at your event ... whether it's a local Pony Club meet or a national motocross event, a cycle race or car club event, we can provide the appropriate level of on-scene medical care ensuring immediate response to any traumatic or medical emergency.
We offer training in First Aid, from a basic 4 hour First Aid course up to a Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Course with NZQA unit standards.
Our Basic First Aid 4 hour course covers the basic principles of First Aid and the importance of the "Chain of Survival". It will enable everyone to recognise a medical emergency, give you the confidence to act and give you some essential skills to help save someone's life.
This course is informal, interactive and fun - everyone can save a life, and this is where you start to learn how. There are no NZQA units with this course but you will receive a certificate upon completion.
The other is the Basic First Aid 8 hour course ( over one day ) that is very similar to a Workplace First Aid course. This is more in depth, with additional scenarios to help you become confident with the skills you have learnt.
There are no NZQA units with this course but you will receive a certificate upon completion.
It is tailored to those in a commercial or industrial work environment and covers basic first aid principles, the Chain of Survival, CPR, AED use, trauma management and sudden illness. It is interactive, practical will give you confidence to render medical assistance when required.
We also have Workplace First Aid and Comprehensive First Aid courses, along with the more advance Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Course ( all with NZQA unit standards ). Please take a look at the website for more information.

We are able to provide immediate, on-scene medical care whilst awaiting the arrival of an Ambulance for transport. That means Pain Management or any other medical requirement is administered without any delay.
We are fully equipped to deal with any medical event on site with our Mobile Treatment Unit as a Medical Base / Treatment Room, First Aid Tents, and 4x4 Response Vehicles for patient recovery.
Our Advanced level personnel are fully qualified, expertly trained and currently serving as front-line Paramedics getting daily hands-on experience.
